What is the Summer Internship Program?
Opportunities for 8 high school seniors (S4) or college students will be available each summer for up to 10 weeks. Application for summer employment in our program will be received from January of each year. Approved students will receive $50 per week for weeks completed as well as a college grant of $300 per week towards their next year’s tuition (5 weeks $1,500 or 10 weeks $3,000).
Students may apply for either ten weeks or for a minimum of 5 weeks (must be consecutive weeks). Students will serve in Word of Life & Grace Island ministries as lifeguards, program staff, counselors, office staff, kitchen help, or other staff projects. Apply online and provide evidence of salvation, a consistent quiet time discipline, and willingness to work alongside WOL staff.
